Matte Diffuser with Mineral Gray

Does anyone have pictures of the matte black plastic OEM performance rear diffuser with a mineral gray car? I'm thinking of doing this and I am curious what it would look like. Thank you. EE60

If you're going to replace the diffuser, why not carbon fiber on mineral gray? It's subtle and matches great.

I know guys like the carbon fiber, but I am not enough of a carbon fiber fan to pay for it on the exterior

I already have gloss black double m grills and gloss black mirrors (Xpel wrapped and quartzed)

Rather than carbon fiber, I was thinking I might paint gloss black

Matte > gloss black on the diffuser.

I've had the diffuser matte black on my MW M235 for about 1.5 years. I'm getting it painted gloss black over the winter. It would just look better with the gloss black window trim, clear coated CF wing, gloss black mirrors and kidneys, and machined/gloss black wheels.

I just bought the M-Performance from IND for my AW. I had them paint the outer part alpine white and left the rest matte. Never gave the diffuser any real thought for the first 18 months of ownership, then last month I realized it was weak as hell.

I thought I didn't like CF until I added the mirror caps. On Mineral Gray, it is very subtle and blends in well. From 10 yards away, you can't even tell it's CF. I now have the M Performance spoiler I will be installing over the weekend.

Are those OEM BMW Caps?

I am torn between the Dinan Caps (Easy Install) and OEM Caps (A little more difficult of an install)

I appreciate your time.

I appreciate your time.
eBay special! They were like $80-85 shipped. I honestly don't care if they fade in 2 years because I'll just buy a new set and it'll still be cheaper than the BMW or Dinan caps. They quality of the fleabay cap is actually really good and the CF weaving looks great. It matches my M Peformance CF spoiler perfectly. Also, the install took me all of 5-7 minutes. You just need a pry tool and wedge out the OEM cap. Pop the new one on and you're done. Don't overthink it and go through the arduous task of removing the mirror and all that other jazz. I did not even come close to breaking the factory tabs.

I like your mirrors. Are you installing diffuser matte or painting? Please send pictures once installed

I don't have the diffuser. OP was asking about it so I suggested CF. I have the M Performance spoiler which is going on this weekend. I'll post pics once done.

Trust me, get IND to paint everything except for the fin area. Much cleaner. All the unpainted ones I've seen in the wild look cheap and faded.

^^

Can't really "trust" someone on something as subjective as visual perception. Mine looks great to me with just the outside painted.
