Tyre Temperatures
Ok, so this might be a stupid question. I have noticed that on the tyre pressure screen that it also shows tyre temperatures - cool feature.
That being said, no matter how I drive, be it slowly or hard one tyre is consistently 15-25% hotter than the rest of the tyres on the car. It is the passenger side, front tyre. Any ideas why this might be? |

I asked this very question a few weeks ago after my dealer told me it was due to the camber of the road over here, yet it was the same whilst I was driving in Europe.
The oil cooler is at the front left, so the air getting to the front left tyre is always hotter and therefore that tyre warms up more. Nothing to worry about. https://f90.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1548341
