Thanks! Yeah i'm itching to take it out for a long drive but haven't had the time to mount the front license plates yet. I'm currently trying to mount it without drilling holes in the front bumper.

I'm quite happy with the color as well. i was originally set on a melbourne red however, the dealer was less than responsive and didn't really seem to want my business so i took it else where. Real happy with the outcome no less!

Congratulations. Very nice!

I just bought a 10,000 mile 2018 M240i in the same color. Gets delivered tomorrow. As it will be in Florida, I’ll get plenty of use out of it.

Enjoy!

If you are first time convertible owner, just know that the wind deflector helps tremendously and will allow you to drive top-down in lower temperatures than you would want to without a deflector. If you don't have one, buy one.

Heated seats are also a real plus for the same reasons. If you don't have them on this car, just remember to make that a priority for your next convertible.

Now, if only our F23s had the neck warmer like the 4 series....!

Congrats! Looks great - what options did you get? New or used? I recently picked up a CPO 228i convertible and love it. These little 2s are a great size. If you bought it as a CPO, I’m curious if yours came with a wind deflector, or not. My dealer is saying it wasn’t included... I’m trying to argue that.

Mine was a courtesy 2018 model with 400 miles on it leased as new. Yes, it did come with a deflector.

Damn, that is sexy. You know how some cars look great as coupes, but they don't translate to convertibles very well...this car is the opposite. It looks good as a coupe, but gorgeous as a convertible. Just one of those shapes that actually works better, the lines and curves and hips all look better, in convertible form. Congrats!

i totally agree! One of the many reasons i chose the 2 series over the 4. In fact i think the 4 series would've been a lot cheaper too.
