"My" new toy....

Well, after 2 weeks, I'm getting quite used to it....

Looks really good Chrisbin hope you are finding the engine a tad better than the 320i and that the fuel consumption is not too much worse.

Congratulations mate - looking good!!

Nice spec too, M-sp, step, flappy paddles, pro nav - good stuff...

Have you used the radio at all or are you enjoying the 6 cylinder symphony too much?

Thanks mate! Just a tad in both cases!!

Overall average over 600 mls is 27mpg....I get c.32mpg with 320i....but go a bit slower!!

Its only "mine" for another 2 weeks probably......but its fun while it lasts

MarkII - yep its got all the toys! I must say that I do like the flappy paddles - the fact that you can access a downshift so quickly in auto mode is great. And obviously full manual is lots of fun too! iDrive is a mix - lots of nice features but it really isnt as intuitive as it should be imo...

As I said above, its not a permanent solution.......

Does yours have the voice control? I find it much easier than trying to fiddle with the iDrive controller......except for when choosing the radio station, coz I can't get used to saying "beebeeceeRtwo" or worse "beebeeceeleics" in a good enough computerised voice to make the damn thing understand. Thank god there are not services for BBC-for-art 'BBCfART or 'BBC4 UK' or I'd really be in trouble...

Nice car, I test drove one a few weeks ago and loved it, in particular the choices of how to change gears, auto, paddle and sequential.

I'll let you all know the outcome when its finalised........keeping schtum til then! As for giving it back, you are right...if I was thinking another coupe was what I wanted then I would definitely feel like I had to keep this one.....up to Goodwood and back, mixed driving and roads, avg was 34mpg which is a lot better than I would have expected.
