228i M sport and M235i same bodykit?

Hello guys, I recently bought a used 2015 228i with the M sport package.

My friend told me that it looks exactly the same like the M235i from the outside, so I could also use parts for M235i. The only difference is under the hood. Is that correct?

Correct! Exterior (body parts) /Interior parts (trim) labeled for the F22 will work with the 235, 228, 230, & 240!

The lower balance on the 228i is dual tip/ single side exit and the M235 is dual side/single tip exit. That's really the only difference other than the extra oil coolers behind the front bumper.

Ive seen some 228i with dual exits, what type of diffuser are they using and is it hard to install?

The M235 muffler and valence can be exchanged on the 228 to provide the M235's dual exhaust pipe design.. Does require some exhaust work on the crossover pipe by car owner or muffler shop.

I sold my M235 muffler and valence to a 228i owner and he was very pleased (after the installation) with the difference in appearance and sound.

If you google it or search it here you should find some postings with details or you tubes.

I got black, halogen headlights because previous owner did not want lighting package for some reason

Also part of the bumper is scratched, not noticeable from afar but its there.

Ill post pictures, if anyone can help me on what to do, that would be very helpful. Thanks!
