3rd row delayed

I ordered a loaded X5 M50d about a month ago and got a buildweek early December with estimated delivery in February. B&W and 3rd row has SOP in December.

A week ago I got a call and may salesrep told my car was moved to week 14 and had an estimated delivery in late June. Production problems with laser light. I removed the laser lights from my order and was moved back to December.

Today I got a call with new problems. 3rd row is now delayed until March and 3rd row is a dealbreaker for me.

Lesson learned. Don't order everything in a brand new model. So I'll guess I'll put the laser lights back to my order and prepare for a minimum 8 month wait. It sucks.

The 2020 Model Year will begin production at Plant Spartanburg in August of 2019.

Is this confirmed? I was told it wouldn't be until March before we could get 3rd row option. I was going to skip the 3rd row if it was delayed until March but if not, I want to put it back on my build.

Yes, is this confirmed or has changed recently? My CA hasn't said anything about it being available in December. Last I heard, it was delayed with a Feb SOP.

I have always been told December build with end Jan delivery with third row included. But now you've scared me...so checking.

I feel your pain...that's why I ALWAYS tend to stay away from the 1st batch of orders...until they get their ducks in a row...demand slightly cools down and they figure out their options and any faults in advance.

... but pricing also tends to go up over time, not down

For those RHD buyers, I spoke to the very helpful dealer who confirmed this was a LHD issue only. Who knows why...

The second row is a 1/3-2/3 setup. Is that mirrored on a RHD?
