JB4 - map 4, but no codes?
I had a long post written but e90post signed me out so instead here is a short explanation and two comparison logs. I am having problems figuring out what is causing the car to accelerate hard, then stumble really bad, then continue to try to accelerate. I thought it was boost leak from the intercooler to the charge pipe, but upgraded to a cobb stepped 5 inch and triple checked all the silicone hose clamps. I do however have horrible wastegate rattle. I get kicked into map 4 but it isn't followed up by any codes. This also will happen in day to day spirited driving.
Bad pass at the strip: https://datazap.me/u/czechmate335i/d...log=0&data=1-4 Good pass at the strip: https://datazap.me/u/czechmate335i/d...log=0&data=1-4 These passes were about 30 minutes apart. The bad pass was my second and final pass of the night. Thanks in advance |

Lean safety. Map 4 is stock, so it goes from increased boost on map 5 to stock boost when the safety trips. Not really a great idea to run a JB4 without a BEF. You're trying to run 15-16psi on the stock ~8psi tuning, which is why you have to run E85 to keep things clean (lean AFR and high timing targets at the artificially low load the DME is shown).
On that note, you've got too much E85 in there too. Trims are maxed, adding to the lean problems, and it may set codes. If autoclear is somehow still enabled, turn it off to check and get an appropriate BEF loaded ASAP. |

In the JB4 interface it will show what the last safety was in the "User Adjustment" tab.
As RSL said, your fuel trims are maxed out, so its probably triggering an AFR Lean safety. High and low fuel pressures look pretty good though. Definitely get a back end flash going soon. |

I'll be BEFing with MHD right now. It was going to happen down the road, but I've been wanting to do it so here it goes!
I will report back when I do some quick logs. Thanks for the insight, I am still learning how to read the data logs.
