E92 Aftermarket Nav Option

What up all. First time Bimmer owner and I love it so far. Here's a low down of what I got:

335i Coupe
Sparkling Graphite
Automatic Transmission
Premium Package
Sport Package (19" Rims)

I decided not to go with the Nav Package and iDrive. I'm still deciding if that was the right way to go. I didn't like the interface, and the fact that the screen was not a touchscreen. However at some point I want to add an aftermarket in-dash Nav. If anyone has installed or had an aftermarket in-dash nav installed, I would love to hear about it. i.e. what was installed, does any of the steering wheel buttons work, does the ipod kit work.

I apologize if a thread has been started on this already and if I've missed it.
