Single turbo oil blow by?

Hey guys I'm needing some opinions on what went wrong!

I've recently gone single turbo, but I have only put around 500 miles on the kit due to a few little issues I wanted to get ironed out.

So I was driving around doing some pulls and everything was running great. I talked to a buddy and decided to give him a ride and show him how it was running. Did a pull on the way to the store and roasted the tires through 2nd and 3rd

On the way back I went to do another pull and noticed it bogged a bit when I hit 3rd. I immediately got out of it and when I looked back I saw some smoke behind me. I figured it may have been some oil blow by or something. By the time I got up to the light my car was billowing smoke and it was coming into the cabin. I pulled over, grabbed my fire extinguisher and popped the hood.

When I lifted the hood absolutely everything was covered in oil. The hood, radiator, and all the way down the underside was dripping. My first thoughts were that I some how blew an oil line or something.

So today I lifted the car up and started examining everything. Both my oil feed and drain were in perfect condition, but sitting in the inlet of my turbo was oil. I dropped the intercooler and found the inside to be completely clean.

The turbo is a Borg Warner S366. It was properly clocked with a 4an feed and 10an drain.

I've had oil blow by on my other turbo cars, but I lost probably 2 quarts of oil. Is it possible to spray that much oil out of the compressor side of the turbo?

Did you not put the o-ring on the oil filter correctly or tighten it down ? How about the oil cap? Did the valve cover break?

I would mention the adapter oil line fitting but that is lower and probably wouldn't spray the inside hood from the angle they are located.

Oil filter and cap are all solid and all the oil pretty much sprayed right around where the turbo is. Everything behind the turbo is okay but right in front is where the bulk of the oil is.

Thanks. It is kind of weird. Did you use the rear drain or front drain on the block?

Maybe check for a drain restriction.

So those were my two thoughts. The only thing is the turbo is brand new and it's never been starved and was primed before use. If somehow the drain was plugged, do you think the turbos done with blowing that much oil through it?
