Driving assistance plus vs Professional

Anyone know the difference between the Driving assistance plus option vs the driving assistance professional option (supposed to begin production in December)?

Thanks!

Hey this is a big question for me too! All I can see from the order guide is that ZDY (Driving Assistance Professional Package) includes 5AR Extended Traffic Jam Assistant for limited access highways. Other than that the "5AU" code remains the same. I am curious if 5AR will be retro-fit-able? Or what exactly it means? Anyone with any knowledge would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: Here's what I could gather so far! https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1542899

I posted this in another thread as well:

"5AR Extended Traffic Jam Assistant for limited access highways" is the only difference between the two packages. 5AR will let you be "hands-off" for an unlimited amount of time if you are below either 45mph or 37mph (I forget which) on certain interstate and highways in the US.

The standard Traffic Jam Assistant only lets you take your hands off the wheel for 45-60 seconds at a time when under 37mph I believe.

So unless you spend a HUGE amount of time stuck in traffic on major freeways in the US and want to take your hands off the wheel, there isn't any difference between the 2 packages.

Do both have the stop and go radar cruise control? Car in front of you stops you stop. Car in front of you starts then you start.

I have the dapp and I have used the Extended Traffic Jam Assistant for limited access highways under 40 mph once in a traffic jam here in Houston, it worked great
