The audi looks pretty good. I dont really like the tail lights but other than that, it's a pretty good looking car. Hmmm...If i had to choose between the two...definitely BMW (not soley on the styling)

i like the 3 more cuz it has a cleaner look from the front, don't like the black front v style... i was think of the A4 but the 3 ride is way better..

I like the 3's front much better, though to be fair, you ought to paste a silly SAMPLE license plate in front of the 330i also. There's too much black in the middle of the Audi front...makes it look like a shoe. The lower intake is split in two horizontally in both cars, but I like the fact that it is recessed in the 3. The fog lights are better looking further back as well. If you were to turn on the lights at dusk, I believe the angel eyes would clinch it for even Audi lovers.

The rear is no contest, though I prefer the e46 tail to the e90. Chrome exhaust tips make quite a difference.

Both cars look much better than the Kompressor. The Passat is a rather boxy looking car. The Lexus 350 looks nice, though generic, though I probably would prefer its interior.

The A4 interior surprised me as it was no where near the quality of the A6, plus for me, the drive was not impressive at all.

i prefer the e90's sharkfin to the a4's "pinky-finger" sticking up out of roof. The rear of the a4 looks cleaner than the e90's though...

The a4 was my second choice car and i would have bought it, except 1) the dealer in little rock is 3 hours away and there isn't one where i live, and 2) the dealer in LR was an ass when i test drove it. he didn't take me seriously. i had half the nerve to call him an hour later after i ordered my e90 and tell him he missed a sale.

The Audi used to have nice looking tail lights. They should have left well enough alone. Now the car can be thought of as a Honda Civic from the rear.

It wasn't intentional. Both mechanics were away due to unforeseen circumstances (including a lacerated finger). I'll have the springs and sway bars installed this coming Wednesday. Hope that spring swap took care of your tire rub problem.

The 3 series' lines are so crisp and clean cut. The a4 looks like it's lines don't have a clear purpose. I never noticed this really, I mean I don't think that the a4 is a bad looking car, but until I saw these side by side comparisons, it was never quite apparent to me how well defined the 3 series is.

Exactly the tail lights on the A4 are from the Nuvolari concept car and were Audis design first the wonderful Honda people stole that design not the other way around.

I love both cars, each has its own strengths. The Audi nose looks much better with an EU plate on there! The next few years there is going to be a nice battle between both manufacturers so the winners will be us consumers!

the point is that your asking a forum for E90 owners,
or at least what is mainly composed of E90 owners and wannabe owners, (like myself)
so of course none will say they prefer the audi over the bimmer.

sorry if i sound rude, but its pretty much common sense.

audi has pretty hot design, but they come out shitty, just like mercedes do. (reason why im buying a bimmer soon)
constant electrical problems.etc. blah.

so yes, i would prefer the E90
