Oil or Fuel on Sparkplug

Hey guys,

So I'm experiencing some shakiness when I start my car. The sputters on start up and then drops down to low rpm and the car shakes aggressively.

I'm getting misfire codes in 1-3. A month ago I pulled my sparks and ignition coil and replaced all of them.

There was excessive oil in spark plug 3 and I eventually saw the crack right near the valve cover, it was leaking into the sparkplug valley.

I had the valve cover and gasket replaced about a month ago as well and yesterday I've noticed oil or fuel in the third sparkplug again. I didn't smell the sparkplug which I should have I just wiped it and put it back in.

Could this be an injector issue now? I have all 6 index 11 injectors. My plan is to replace the third injector but I've read that if spark plug is wet near the threads it's oil leaking and if its near the tip it's injectors.

Let the car sit overnight.... take the plug out in the AM. If is wet and smells of fuel, thats your problem

Are you getting any codes?

You'll definitely be able to smell if its fuel. Plus if you take a plug out and it dries in about an hour its fuel. If the threads are still wet, its oil

Yeah, and check the coil for oil around the base. A leaking VC gasket can cause the coil to short to ground instead of discharging at the plug.
