I can't imagine they could feel any worse, not only having a Polac but then hitting a freshly restored war memorial.
And I'm absolutely positive there would have been much piss taking and cake fines. |

Many is the time I've been at a junction, heard the sirens, seen the blue lights, waited for them to go on their way only to see some oblivious fuckwit pull out across the junction right in front of them. I would not want to be an emergency services driver.

As above. I've seen numerous twats just pull out into the path of emergency vehicles and you've got to think for one of their drivers this worry is always something at the back of their mind.
If the mini driver caused the police vehicle to take evasive action she will almost certainly be charged with driving without due care and attention. Maybe she was on the phone at the time? Maybe she was busy trying to keep up with Broncho's new posts. |

I'm sure the brave souls mentioned on the memorial will see the lighter side of our boys and girls in blue chasing some law breaking scum bag.

Exactly that. A) they're dead so I'm sure they dont care but B) they fought in a war to protect our country. I'm sure they had the right moral makeup to see why the police were doing what they did
