Question Car Cover

I need recommendations for a good quality Car Cover for my new 3301.
I will be in the garage all summer when i am at home, however, in the winter it will be in Florida parked under a Florida Oak Tree.
So I need a GOOD cover for outdoor use.
Thanks

Go with either Weathershield or Noah material car covers. Weathershield is a thin and very light car cover which is great for dust/dirt/moisture protection. Noah is a heftier and thicker car cover (which I currently use) which offers all the protection of the Weathershield. I've had both materials before and I personally prefer Noah because it's thicker, offers some ding protection and won't flap around as much in the wind (= less scratches should you have to put the cover on with some dust/dirt on the car). Both are suitable for outdoor use, though the more robust material of the Noah makes it stand up to the elements a little better. There's also a new material out called Weathershield HD which might be of interest to you; it's recommended for use in "intense sun climates."

Here's a few links on these materials:

Weathershield is the BEST... it is machine washable! Noah isn't and could have
warnings on it as not to get to close to flames... do not carry in car...etc!
I've have a weathershield and LOVE it... only complain with this one is ...light
weight.. installing it on the car on windy days takes a little extra time as it
slides all over .

Hey Jwocky, I checked the link you posted re the weathershield HD and it appears that Covercraft doesn't currently have an application for the E90? Any info? BTW, I loved my old covercraft!

Not me, I prefer an aftermarket car cover, plus it doesn't say BMW on it!

Thanks for all the advice.
I'm going to order the Weathershield HD from autoanything in the fall when I get to Florida.

I looked at several of the listed preferred vendors and just now ordered Weathershield HD from the site Big Foot linked. Their price was slightly lower for the HD, but not by much.

What is wrong with the car cover offered by BMW? It is cheaper than Weathershield and some of the others. Any one have experience with the OEM car cover?

Gonna bring an old forum back to life, I have an e90 and just moved to Oklahoma been walking around and overtime i look at a car it has hail damage. My problem is I am not going to be able to garage my car since i don't have one so its gonna be outside for all these nasty storms they get up here in middle america. Anyone have any advice on a car cover thats thicker good for outdoor use that will help against some medium size hail?

Thanks
