Up until when can leather color be changed?
I am placing an order this week for a December build.
I am concerned though that once they start showing up at dealerships, I may change my mind on about the color. Until when can I change it? TY |

Options can be changed up until the status moves to 150 (Production Started). I'm not exactly sure how long before your actual build week that occurs. Ours is still at 112 (Order scheduled for Production) and is a Week 41 build (October 8th).
If you are going to change your mind, I would do it before you get within 2-3 weeks of your production week just to be safe.

You can put in your Production # (or VIN if the car is in production already) and it will show you the status. Here is an example. It just moved to "Dispatched from Factory" today actually (which I think is status 180 or 181). This one isn't our car, but one that we initially put our name on but they weren't able to add M-Sport, so we passed on it and got a Week 41 build instead:

As usual, ScottMZ3 contributes great content
 I enjoy going out to the My Garage portal periodically to check status, verify build details... it's a fun way to feel more connected to the process. But I thought I read on here somewhere that it can be sadly out of date...not updated as frequently as it should. (That said, within a day it reflected a build change I made.) The guidance that you have up until 2-3 weeks prior to your scheduled build to make changes aligns with what I was told by my CA and in fact seems to be the case. He and I are working on finalizing my wheel choice, and I have a week 40 (October 1) build. Door's closing on me!

What colours are you torn between?
I do often find my instinctive first choice is always the right one too. It's only over analysis that brings others into contention.
