Garmin 760 & 770 Sat Nav Units
Hi all, we have bought a batch of Garmin Sat Nav units from a large UK distributor and as such negotiated a very good price indeed.
We have the Garmin 760T and 770T models in stock. 760: 770: They are both identical apart from the 760T having the European mapping preloaded and the 770T having European and North America/Canada. We chose these units after extensive research and can honestly say that they are the best on the market and can be used either in the car or handheld on foot with its upto 5 hours battery life. They feature built in Traffic camera locations (UK, France, Spain, Belgium), Bluetooth, an FM transmitter for listening to stored MP3's wireless through your cars radio, Traffic master with built in Dynamic route adjustment, 2GB internal memory and an SD card slot. As far as GPS units go, these are the best. They have all the maps and roads pre-loaded, you cant buy any more at this time, they are fully up to date and covered under Garmin UK’s 12 month warranty. Having used the BMW iDrive and Professional Nav for years and not been 100% happy with it, I switched to one of these units and they really are far superior. They even offer full post code searching! They are on sale to E90 Post members at preferential prices as can be seen below. The Garmin 760T is £199 + P&P. The Garmin 770T is £245 + P&P. To purchase at the above preferential prices, please PM me and we will get them posted to you the same day where possible. Anthony. Last edited by Ant397; 09-22-2008 at 03:51 AM.. |

Yes, they also have spoken road names like: "Take the second exit off the roundabout onto Melrose Crescent". or "Take the 3rd left into Washington Close". |

Are the maps of Europe major roads, or all roads?

They have all the roads that have been mapped so far, every small road and major road that has been done, so if a road is not covered, it would be very remote.
On the pictures, the dark blue regions on the map on the box represent full coverage for reference, we have used these on Cross European Rallies with excellent results and I really do swear by them! |

With them at http://www.handtec.co.uk/checkout.ph...459fe1a3b9f8c4 ,
The 760 is £221.08 with P&P. The 770 is £264.42 with P&P. Although they do not state if the are brand new or reconditioned units... I really am trying to offer a great price here Creepy and I honestly believe it is. Are you a Tomtom man by the way? |

The thing is buyer might prefer the security of a major outfit, in terms of any possible issues. I do like Tomtom, but am no way connected, I did have a Navman GPS and found it very buggy, but that was a while ago to be fair. |

I totaly understand your your points, but as we are to be Sponsoring E90 Post and the past UK5 forum meet, you can be assured of our commitment to service and satisfaction at all times.
In a way, you should feel safer dealing with us rather than a company that you dont know and cant form a relationship with. RE your point about needing to be a fair margin cheaper though a forum, believe me, they cant be made any cheaper without upsetting the bank manager if you know what I mean... |
