Hi folks,

I am planning on buying a G05 in Feb-march 2019. My local dealer (dallas, TX) says he will get his initial shipments only around late Nov or early December. Coincidentally I am going to Munich in early Nov for other reasons, and am hoping to spend some quality time with a G05.

Any suggestions/advice?
Would have loved to have a track day @ the legendary Nurburgring, but that is 5 hours away from Munich

Any other ideas other than visiting local dealers there?
Given my intent to buy, if I put a deposit down at a dealer early, will any opportunities open up for M-school or an extended tour at the BMW musuem there ?

Given that it is being manufactured here in the US @ Spartanburg, it may make more sense to visit there LOL ! [if they will let me!]

You'll be in Munich in early November? I think I have to disappoint you, the official release of the G05 at the dealerships in Germany is Nov 24th. I doubt that you'll get you hands on a G05 before that, let alone drive one.
You're better off finding one in the US, since it is built there.

I guess I will just wait for a few more weeks for the media embargo and reviews to lift and then try my luck at my local dealer ...
