TPMS

Does the Canadian M2 (2017) use TPMS sensors or does it just use ABS wheel rotation sensors?
I'm about to buy some winter tires/wheels so I would like to know if I need to worry about TPMS.

My M2C has TPMS which in my opinion is nothing but a bother as all my wheels will need sensors. The old method of FTM monitoring was better for my useage of the car.

I completely agree and strongly prefer the old method. I just need to find out which system does my car (2017 pre LCI) have before ordering the wheels.

also, if you get a extra set of TMPS, how do you pair it up to the car?

I guess I will have the answer for that this fall. The worst thing is The inaccuracy of these sensors as they are usually off to my expensive pressure gauge that has zero error!
