Dinan Tune

Does anyone know if Dinan is already working on a tune or if it will be out soon?

They told me it would be out by SEMA. They have an M5 going to SEMA with their mods on it.

Anyone have thoughts on whether the transmission and rods can handle any more torque?

@Dinan_Engineering can you confirm this? Any insight as to what power you are targeting?

We will have a tune on our shop F90 M5 by SEMA unveil in our booth. Still a bit early to offer any power figures yet. We will be unveiling quite a bit for the platform at SEMA though. At least that's the plan.

Aren't the rods the same as the S63TU ?
I too would like to see some real data from anyone tuning this platform. Aside from how much power they can squeeze from it.

Rods are NOT the same. One of the changes to this version of the engine.

I would love some info on the new rods if you have it. Also, when I look up the max torque on the ZF8 in the M5, it seems like it's on the very upper limit already. Is this just an overly conservative number?
