Anyone have a picture of Tetragon trim?

I've ordered a 40i in CB with Tartufo, and rolling the 22's from all the marketing materials. Laser lights of course. Really struggling with trim because I'm going for a sporty look, and just feel that wood says luxury. I saw the dark aluminum mesh and really disliked. I've currently speced piano black (for $1080--ridiculous). Interested to see the tetragon sample if anyone has???? Please! I can't find anywhere. Really would prefer a quality aluminium finish.

I saw it and it really doesn't photograph well. Almost impossible to take a clear picture. However it's quite nice and much more black than any prior m sport trim and after seeing it I decided to go with it instead of alu mesh with my beige interior.

CB means carbon black? Are you going with the black outside trim or the Chrome?

Thanks all. I saw this image on the configurator, but it's not a very good resolution. Strangely, it was an option in the US on the Order Guide, but disappeared. Perhaps it will re-appear before my order is locked, and with a reasonable image. Intrigued by the black/alum mix for this trim, as I'm going for a sporty vibe. Here's my order as it stands:

19XG X5 40i
416 Carbon Black Metallic
VATQ Tartufo Ext. Merino
ZLS Luxury Seating Pkg.
ZMP M Sport Pkg.
ZPP Premium Pkg.
ZPX Exec. Pkg.
337 M Sport Pkg. (inc. Shadowline trim)
1PA 22" M Double spoke bi-color wheels
4ML Piano Finish Trim
2NH M Sport Brakes
4HA Front and Rear Heated Seats
4HB Heated Armrest and Steering
4M5 Leather Dashboard
688 Harman Kardon

Wow, I am pretty bummed that the Executive Package isn't available outside the US....
Looks like your BMW will be pretty much loaded with all options. What is the sticker price for your X5?

Thanks for picture from Insta. Helpful. Like others, I'm really picky. Wish my dealer had sample or someone had a hi-res pic. I think I'm going to stick with Piano though, just to carry shadowline theme and center console theme of black through the inserts.

Sticker on mine was $78,465, but I negotiated 4% discount from there. BMW isn't going to give big discounts in first months. That's not cheap, but I also expect that it's a high quality product. If I was super patient, I'd wait a year and get the m50i. However, the B58 really is a good motor, and all the power I need. I will get gloss black grill, Dinan tune, and possibly exhaust down the road, depending on how the x5 sounds out of the gate.

Just found that BMW CCA just waived their waiting period for qualifying for $1000 rebate. That saves US buyers some extra money! US does get some cool packages like Exec package (includes laser lights at a bargain). On the other hand, we can't get sport exhaust, or air suspension in conjunction M Package. I'm sure there' some logic to the mix of options and how they very by country, but it escapes me.

I have seen the alu tetra sample patch because I was trying to go with alu mesh with m sport and my dealer brought me both samples and none of these pictures give a fair representation of what it looks like. I was initially skeptical because my last few cars had alu and I didn't want so much shine but this one is much more black and the pattern is way cooler. If I didn't order it and saw it later or was forced to decide based on the configurator I would be pissed if I had chosen alu mesh which looked cheap next to alu tetra.

Found a video of an X5 with tetra interior. Looks really good. Yes, far better than dark carbon mesh.
Now, will they put it back on the ordering guide and config for US???

I can't figure out how to resize the photo, as I took a screen shot from a video I found. I'll see if I can figure it out.

Yes absolutely. If you add everything up individually (what is included in the exec package) we pay way more!
Laser lights are 2000 Euros,
Remote Engine Start 1650 Euros
Soft-close automatic doors 640 Euros
Rear manual side window shades 300 Euros
Heated and Cooled Cupholders 250 Euros,
sums up to 4840 Euros or about 5600 USD

Exec package is 2050 USD

On the other hand discounts are 3 - 4 times higher here.

You are pretty funny. Yeah, BMW is playing a strange pricing game---charges you more in Germany, but willing to give it back in discounts. I suppose that works well if you're smart/tenacious enough to get the discount. If not, you'll pay more. I'm still frustrated that there are options that simply aren't available to me with 40i M sport, e.g. sport exhaust, DHP, integral active steering, air suspension. They don't want my $.

They want more of your money. If u want those toys u need to get the 50i or wait for m50i more and more money.

Taxes in many EU countries based on combinations or CO2 emissions and retail price of car with all options above a certain value, so you get creamed first year tax on this calculation.....
The discounts, BMW incentives, are probably a sweetner to actually be able to sell some cars......

hmmm.... I was able to configure sport exhaust, integral active steering and air suspension in combination with M Sport (see thread "Order placed")
Maybe because in Germany the 50i is not available (at least not right now)

There are three things wrong with this Picture:
1. Color of the leather (too light)
2. Trim (Looks like fishnet)
3. Plastic Dashboard -> get the real leather

my opinion. Don't take it personal.

I have to agree with these points, and yes, all personal preference. I think the color looks sharp, but after some investigation of upkeep on ivory, I'm sticking with Tartufo. I like the aluminum material, but agree that tetragon, well, it's busy. I'm sticking with piano. Plastic dash--I'm getting leather dash/doors, but full leather is not currently offered, nor is the x5 in the Individual program.

Have you had a look at the coffee leather? Is that maybe an option for you?
I have that on order, paired with the fineline stripe trim. Looks good, I have that on my current X3.
