Finally! Remus Sports Label for E92 installed!
Well, after an almost 3 month wait for the sea shipment to come from Austria (placed my order on 4/8/08), UPS delivered my Remus Sports Label exhaust this past Tuesday! I had it installed Wednesday morning and I immediately fell in love. It's exactly what I wanted in an aftermarket muffler. Its not loud, just more sporty. The E92 328 doesn't really have any exhaust note at all from the factory, and it doesn't have a valve like the 330 to do a golf-tee mod. With the Remus there's no drone, when cruising at a steady speed its not even there. But when you accelerate it makes a nice smooth hum that is not intrusive at all.
Pics are attached. It says E92 318/325/330 on the sticker cause Europe doesn't have a 328 but it fits all E92's just fine. I contemplated getting the Powersound which is a lot more widely available here in the US and has the adjustable tone but it's only made to fit E90's and would require modification and custom hangers according to Remus. I will try to record some clips of the sound later but its not even broken in yet. Still sounds great though. For those of you familiar with the Boston area, I had this installed by Anthony at Unique Custom Exhaust in Burlington, MA. I highly recommend his work and reasonable prices. UPDATE: Stationary video clip has been uploaded to Youtube. I recommend listening with headphones or good quality PC speakers to hear the low end rumble. 2ND UPDATE: Vids of drive-by and interior acceleration 1st through 2nd gear WOT uploaded. Need to be watched with headphones or speakers w/ sub for accurate sound. Last edited by alex2112; 06-30-2008 at 12:53 PM.. |

I ordered it from www.remusexhaustshop.com
They are a official US distributer of Remus products and they used to be a sponsor here on E90Post but I haven't seen them around recently? |

I hear ya on that. I waited a hell of a long time for this exhaust. I'm not gonna lie, I did contemplate canceling my order and going with something else. But I was patient and it did eventually come. When I placed my order I was told 4 to 7 weeks since the shipment has to come from Austria to their warehouse in the US, then from there it is UPS'd to me. After about 4 weeks I got a email from them saying that its scheduled to arrive at their warehouse in 3 weeks tops. After those 3 weeks went by they sent another email saying that the sea shipment is delayed cause of some backup in the panama canal or some BS. Then finally 2 weeks later they gave me the UPS tracking number. I am glad I waited for it though, I am very happy with this exhaust.
