Issue Identification_2008 E93

Hi All,

After some advice on a couple of issue's that have cropped up after I changed my head unit.

1. Left Passenger Mirror, when in reverse the mirror tilts up instead of down, Is it possible to reset ?

2. When locking the doors from outside, there is a loud screeching sound which seems to be coming from the centre of the dash. I run a diagnostic check using Carista and no faults are showing.

I've even removed the radio and the sound is still present, however, the strange thing is, if I am sitting in the car and lock the doors. There is no sound ?????

Any ideas ?

Cheers

Is it a mechanical sound or a something coming out of the speakers.
Which Radio or Idrive did you start out with attached to which of the
three common audio systems.
Can you sit in the car while someone else initiates the thing that causes
the noise to locate it more closely .

Also most aftermarket scanners will not show all the BMW codes though
in this case a scanner may not help you.
