That's retarded. It completely negates the purpose of CF-to reduce weight. If you want CF mirrors then don't get covers, get CF mirrors. Even so, cf mirrors wouldn't really save you much weight, so there really is no purpose.

Oh come on now! How much CF actually weight? 3-5 oz. or so. You get looks first, then you worry about performance.

You mean you tried to put Carbon difuser cover on non M-Sport bumper? The Carbon is only for M sport.

I know this is not the purpose of your post, but IMHO, CF on SG looks particularly nasty...

Im not shure if they are stick on covers, or replacement parts, like the rear CF diffuser fro M Sports Pack ( Diffuser replaces old one )

I have not seen a real photo yet. I have seen Photoshoped CF mirrors, they look fine, that is why I wanted to get those CF covers, since there is no OEM CF mirors.

Yeah even if it did replace the stock mirrors, you may lose a total of 5 lbs.

How about go on a diet instead. It will probably save you about $800.

I saw an M5 this weekend, that little black thing on the bottom of the mirrors doesn't show carbon weave, it's just black plastic looking.......

cutting out the regular soda in your diet will have a bigger effect on the cars performance (unless you don't drink soda, or you live somewhere where it's called pop)
