Love my 06 e90 and looking hard for a summer fun E93 328i, no turbo. What should I look for and avoid? anything easily break in the E93? any major difference in MY 2011+?

Gonna be the same as any other e9x. The convertible top is fairly reliable, but the moving bits and seals need some TLC to keep it up. Make sure the top runs smoothly and the roof seals look good and fresh, the cables are not frayed.
As far as working on it, there’s some extra bracing underneath but it’s all tolerable to work around or remove. LCI (2011+) advantages are also the same as other models. IMO, sport package (or M Sport) is essential hardware for the convertible.

If anyone in CO has one for sale, let me know. I bought my first 06 BMW 325i fresh out of college and now with a kid and have been driving a big Acura MDX. I think I am hitting the midlife crisis state and want a convertible

Depending on mileage the n52 is a really reliable engine. There shouldn't be much going on.

Main things to pay attention to:
Valve over head gasket
Oil filter housing gasket
Spark plugs and ignition coils
You can run a water pump speed test using Carly.
Also cooling components. Mostly condition of the hoses.
E90,E92,E93 have much better cooling components then E46 models.(prior owner experience).

I have a 2006 330i (6 speed manual) 198k and still going strong. I
Past 20k miles I have changed:
Oil filter gasket
Spark plugs and ignition coils
Transmission oil flush
Brake fluid flush
(Currently working on a suspension refresh)

Past critical repairs
Starter replaced at 90k
Water pump was replaced at 128k
HVAC compressor was replaced at 168k
