Upgrading Nav DVD on e92?
Can someone help me out here? The previous owner of my car had a 2011 burned nav DVD in the car. It would be sweet to get an updated one.
I know nothing about how these things work. I saw a couple DVDs online but not sure if they'd work for my car? I have a 2007 e92 335i Coupe ... can someone point me in the right direction of what I should be doing to upgrade the maps on my nav system? |

I ordered a 2015 set off of ebay...I just tried to find it and I noticed the listing was removed. This listing appears to be from the same seller for the same item I bought...followed the included instructions and it works great...

download the 2015 isos from the internets.
burn them to DVD+R in the standard dao mode. that's given me the best results. My drive refused to read a DVD-R. |

2015 is the last year for the CCC dvd.
Go over to the Navigation board.... https://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=122 and poke around. You can download the image and burn it to a DVD for basically the cost of the DVD. There are some suggestions on burning at a slow speed and using Verbatim AXO type media for the best results. Be very cautious about jumping out on YouTube or Ebay and buying or downloading something. There are scams always going on.... like the one on Ebay that was advertising "2018 CCC Navigation DVD" only to have in extremely small print that the data was actually from 2015. |
