Window regulator problem

Hi all,

I had a problem with my passenger rear window -cable got off track- so I replaced the regulator with the one from Autozone many here have had good luck with.
Here is the problem. The window keeps getting stuck at the bottom.
I have tried the reset procedure, down till full hold 10 seconds, up to full hold 10
and either I am doing it wrong, or its a different problem.

I can assist the window with slight pressure, and it works fine.
Otherwise it starts to raise (motor engages) but immediately stops.
Once I get it off the very bottom it works normal.

Any thoughts? Help? Appreciate it.

Maybe someone could provide the correct reset procedures? I have seen several versions, and have tried most. No joy!
Thanks!

Actually its not the reset procedure that is problem at least not with my anecdotal experience. I have had the exact same issue with 4 different sets of Autozone regulators (all rear windows for my e90). I ended up getting tired of it and bought some from eBay and those work perfectly. Not sure why the Autozone ones always got stuck on the bottom if I rolled the window down the whole way. I would have to keep trying to roll it up and then randomly it would just work. Pretty embarassing when people would accidentally roll it down all the way and then there we were stuck trying to roll it up for 15-20min.

I have tried the Dorman, one from ebay, and the original replacement cable kits from ebay. All have the same problem described here when the window is rolled all the way down. Have to play with the switch for 20 to 30 minutes to finally get it to roll up. Anybody narrowed down the cause?
