Rear bottom window rubber has come off

The rear rubber has come off my e90. It is in good condition (all the window rubber is) but seems the glue has let go.

I stopped by a window shop, they wanted no part of putting it back on - claiming the window must be pulled to install it.

I don't see why I can't clean it and glue it back into place. Any suggestions, tips or tutorials out there?

Buy a replacement from one of the online shops. You can get the official BMW replacement and it even comes with the sticky surface tape to install. Very quick install, just clean the surface, let dry and then position and pull back tape. I swear it was $20-30.

Edit: Here's the part number and a google search so there is no direct links:

I bought mine from BMWpartswholesale, but there are TONS of places to get it at.

For the record, you DON'T have to remove the windshield to put it back on. You just have to make sure your positioning is good. It's a part that typically fails (haha or falls), and it's all about the adhesive and install care.

I used this to glue the strip back to the window. Took like 10 minutes to get everything done.
