That honestly looks really good with the top down. It has a somewhat mix of elegance and athleticism.

That looks like a 19"/20" setup.

The coupe also looks better in more "elegant" configurations. The M sport treatment just doesn't seem to work on this new 8er (or shall I say, redesigned 6-series?).

Both this and the coupe just looks like generic "big" BMWs. The 7-series is the same.

BMW just can't do a big car right.

The problem for BMW these days is that there is direct styling and implicit styling.

Bmw styling continues to be sleek and inoffensive, nevertheless they do not look that good and come across as generic.

Why?

Because many of us read into the styling the underlying attributes of the car. When the cars become boring to drive gizmo boxes we look at the cars as being more bland on the outside. The fun cars look better and better as each day passes.

It's similar to how a mediocre looking girl with a great personality looks much better or vice versa when an objectively hot girl looks ugly when you realize what a shit personality they have.

Speaking of...Today I may have seen one of the last made. It was on a car carrier with temp euro plates (EU delivery).
