Headlight Bulbs

I noticed a bulb in the inner headlight config is out.(dash bulb warning indicator on) Its the non-halogen round bulb. Whats its function and is it easily accessible. Will the dealer replace under warranty?? Thanks much....

You mean the small little one at the top on non-Xenon lights ?

Thats your parking lights ( one click of the lights switch )

Should be easy to fix ( havent done it on a E90, but takes 1 minute in other BMW's

Thanks for the response...I thought it odd to have both bulbs in the one config. It doesnt appear necessary to bring it in to BMW for replacement. (god knows they would probably break something else)Although i eventually need to have the B-Pillar done. Annoying clicking noise though intermittent...Also a problemwith temp display. After 85 degrees the temp display goes blank.

They should be very easy to replace

They are 5W wedge bulbs ( Called W5W in europe )

Your temp display problem is know, and is fixed by the software updates
