Kidney Grills!?
Apologies if this subject has been covered before, but I have done a search and trawled through a few threads but still have a few questions....
Can somebody recommend who the best *person/company* is to buy these off please? I am after a set but want them in the same finish as the high gloss shadow line black as on my window trim and door pillars. Car is an E90 335D. I've seen a couple of guys on here advertising them (Cyba and Adamaster) so have enquired with both. Has anybody used these guys? Has anyone bought a set of grills in high gloss shadow line black? I don't really want the matte black or CF and am not too keen on them being colour coded to my car (sapphire black). I've seen some advertised on Ebay and they say "shadow black", but they look dull as opposed to glossy....don't want to take the risk... Any help appreciated... Jules. |

My car will also be black (carbon) so I would like them to match up with other shadow line parts also.

I buy from Teddy at SSDD-Motorsport: bought lots of things off him for my E90 including springs, spacers, bulbs etc... He's got some kidney grilles for my M3.
Call him on 07920 575052 or visit http://www.ssdd-motorsport.com/ |

Thanks for the replies.
I've now ordered a set of grills in high gloss shadow line black (all painted including grills and surround) from Adamaster on here. It should take approx two weeks before they arrive but will post some pics once fitted. Jules. |

The BMW performance grills are high gloss surround to match the shadowline trim (and only £42 pair) Althought the slats are satin not matte, (i.e midway between matte and gloss), you really can't see them anyway.... They're not painted either, the finish comes from the moudling and finishing process so they won't be subject to stone chips. Pics of yours when they arrive would be nice. |

Well pleased with the BMW grills, surprisingly good value in comparison to other offerings. £30.00 each + VAT - less discount was a good buy, and the quality is superb

I can't answer for the e90, but the e92 grills from BMW are a gloss match to the shadowline

Yep - got a discount from a member on here 'Anneka @ Sytner' on bmw performance grilles, they do match the trim around windows (exact reason i wanted em) and Anneka @ Sytner found me nearest dealer and rang em, told i was coming, and paying less for em! - top work!

Nice idea but the parts vary slightly from model to model I have found, so it wouldn't be a case of bulk buying x number of one part as it is with the Alpine Hi Fi kits... that said, I'll look in to it and see if there is some cross over between different models.
