Bmw 4 series Front brake pads issue

Hi,

here i am again ..

Can anyone tell me why my Front brake Pads Warning is saying change pads in 400 Mile , when i had them changed only 3 weeks ago .. ?

and theres still plenty of life on pads

its BMW 420d Gran coupe ...

the Joys of owning a Bmw .. lol ..

Was iDrive reset when the brakes were done? If it was, I would suspect a bad wear sensor or your old one wasn't replaced.

Yes,, i drive was Reset and wear sensor changed at when Pads were changed .

You could try the reset in the cluster and see if that fixes it.

Something likely happened to the sensor. As already stated, perhaps the old one wasn't replaced or the new one wasn't properly installed and came loose and was damaged thus giving the indication the brake pads are worn.
