My dealership has zero info. I sent him the US order guide but indicated the Canadian car will be optioned differently. In the meantime, I've given the dealership $1K towards the 2019 X5 and they'll extend the lease on our 2016 which is up in September. My preference is to try and extend it until March / April. I saw a post saying you can extend the lease for up to 12 months plus the bolt pattern on the new X5 is different so I can't use the Winter setup from the F15. I'm going to push for a Spring delivery.

Can't wait for the responses to this info coming out... M-Sport and Offroad/Air Suspension and Integral Active Steering can be ordered without having to order the 3rd Row seating, Panoramic Sky Lounge and Ambient Air packages... I may have to buy from Canada and import to the US lol

Could you buy from Canada but then opt for the Spartenburg, SC delivery and just drive it home and bypass customs?

My dealership forwarded the detailed pricing (attached).They said they wouldn't extend our lease past 4 months. Our F15 comes up on 09/22/2018. I was hoping to push it out to the end of March versus January...due to the winter setup which isn't compatible plus I prefer the spring over winter delivery. I'm a bit frustrated over this.

There are some options like the Massage Seats and the Sky Lounge that I don’t think we’ll use. I want to see the Merino leather package. If we look to go down that path of the Merino leather it would only make sense to go with the excellence package.

20" tires are now all season.

The 50i, has good value, MSport with 22" wheels , is only $10k more for V8.
In 2014 it was $13k difference. I miss the V8.

For those in Canada that placed an order, does anyone care to disclose % off MSRP they got? (Aside from any other discounts ie:loyalty, fleet etc).
I was told the program isn’t out yet so not sure if everyone is placing an order without even knowing lease or finance rates.

I haven't received anything as of yet or placed an order...not in a hurry. I'm waiting to extend / negotiate my lease that comes due late September. Not happy with the time they've proposed.

this first series will have a huge value dump after 12/18 when the new version is available. Thoughts?
Also any talks on the Diesel or the "e" variant in Canada?
Seeing this, I'm really tempted to wait for the new X6 which is always a clone of the X5 platform...that car should be awesome!

I was at 93k plus taxes and thought that was high! It was also around 10k more than my current X5

Hey, has anyone extended their lease beyond 4 months? The 4 months brings me to January 22nd which is not ideal...not keen on picking up a new vehicle in the winter and because of the change in bolt pattern it will make it difficult to find a good winter setup @ 20's or 21's. I've requested an additional 2 month extension to March 22nd which the dealership refuses to accommodate. Any advice?

Just a suggestion but why don’t you rent a car for couple months? If car arrives in March, you can take delivery at end of March. Just a thought!
