Looking for BMW France
I am going to Paris and Grenoble next week to visit GF. Does anyone know of any cool BMW related places that I should visit. (any huge dealerships, etc,). I already have my bases covered with all the tourist hotspots and may need a welcome change in scenery (i.e. time spent at some cars) by mid week. Thanks--

There. Was that so hard for the list to get beyond stereotypes? It helps if you can read french, but you should be able to play around and find dealers etc. with no problem anyway. |

I am not sure where such hatred as a response to an innocent question about France is coming from, or where some of you get the idea that the Germans don't like the French or vice versa. Possibly the Fox News effect...
A few facts: Germany is France's largest economic partner with annual commercial exchanges in excess of 104 Billions Euros a year. Clearly, there's a little bit of love between the two countries nowadays. As a matter of fact, the Germans love to vacation in France. As for not seeing any BMWs in France, think again. France is the 6th largest market for BMW with annual sales exceeding 42,000 cars. Granted, the majority of BMWs you find in France - or in Europe, including Germany - are 4 cylinders and diesels. However, rejoice kdan, you should see plenty of 1-Series, and with a bit of luck the M6 that are not yet sold here. I saw one last year in June at the Dijon dealership (Savy 21) FrenchBoy |
