What rims and sizes are people running?

My car is coming in a couple months so I am thinking about rim options. What sizes are people running with their aftermarkets?

I'm trying to decide between 21" or 22". The guys I'm working with have warned against 21" because it's an odd size, but I'm concerned 22" might look too big.

22" IMO is much more of an odd size than 21" on the F90 platform.

I've had 21" on two F10 M5's w/ no rubbing and both lowered (KW HAS).

I'm currently running this set up on my 15' F10 M5:

Rear 305/25 ZR21
Front 265/30 ZR 21

My understand of them calling it an "odd" size was in regard to tire options and pricing and them not being as popular as 22's. I think 21's will look perfect on this car... especially when the KW coils are available. Have you started to narrow down you wheel search?

I'll be doing 21" Velos Wheels, still undecided on the exact wheel I will go with. More than likely will do KW HAS or KW Coils.

Curious how folks are running 21's unless you had a custom forge done by HRE or Brixton? The bolt pattern and clearance of the brake components pretty much guarantee that each of the wheel manufacturers create a new mold for this series. I've had conversations with a number of wheel manufacturers and most are willing to go the custom route, but not yet offering a catalog wheel.

There will be catalog wheels eventually (ACS already has a collection for the F90) but IMO custom is the only way to go if you want to ensure perfect fitment, maximum concavity etc. I'll be going with wheels from Velos; they did the 21" wheels on my 15' F10 M5 and I've been very happy.

100% agree with you. Going with a custom wheel is the way to go on this caliber vehicle. Velos is great at getting the fitment just right.

20x10 and 20x11 as well as 21x10 and 21x11 are being ordered more than anything else. There is interest in 22", with a couple orders, but certainly not as much as 20" or 21".

This is my idea I would like to know what you think, I thought to put the original rear wheels of 20 with 10.5j and tires 285/35 at the front and then take two new rear wheels and put the 295/35 offset remains the same but there should be better performance and comfort
