June 2018 Ridge Motorsports Park Track Day

Man you guys were right about doing Pads and Fluid. As mentioned in the other thread, I went with RBF600 and Pagid RS29's and I couldn't believe how much it transformed the car!

I am definitely even more in love with the car now than I was before! No overheating issues and no brake fade. Didn't get passed once the whole day (I was in the slow group)

Here's an excerpt with the old M2 passing a Shelby 350, Mini and a Mazda (that went off the track)

Yeah.. my shifting could still use a lot of improvement. It was my first real track event.

No worries. You should try and do some events with BMW, Audi or Porsche clubs and request an instructor. A good foundation will accelerate your learning curve compared to you going it alone 🥃

Haha trust me I wouldn't just go alone. I had an instructor with me all morning, and he was pretty happy with my lines, steering and braking. I probably didn't upload my best video either. Was a little distracted with my MPSS's disintegrating.

But there will be many more track days and instructors to come, I know I have a ton to learn still.

Sweet another BSM M2. I think I am going to go, picking up my RE71R's on the way down, so I might as well run.

Are you still going? I'm heading down Saturday to pick up my new set of Re-71Rs in Seattle. I'll probably be at the track early so I have time to swap wheels and get setup.
I'm heading down alone this time so it would be nice to meet somebody there. I have the BSM M2 on APEX EC7 wheels.

Hmm... Shelton isn't too far from me, maybe I should head down as well.

Yes you should come! I think TSS still has room, as long as you don't need a First Timer spot.
