Dumb question about waxing with 5050

Tried searching already..

I have already Jetsealed my m3 and am ready to apply 5050 with my foam applicator pad. My questions are...

1) How much 5050 do I use?
2) Do I need to dampen the foam applicator pad once before I start?
3) How long do I leave it on before wiping off with a microfiber towel?

It's been about 15 yrs. since I've waxed a car myself. I've already tried calling Chemical Guys but I think they are closed so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks guys.

OK I called Chemical Guys and they answered this time.

Here's how you do it in case anybody was wondering...

Apply 5050 in a thin layer using foam applicator pad.
Let stand for about 15 minutes.
Wipe off with microfiber towel.

50/50 is one of my fav, and I use it a lot. You cant beat it for the price.

First off use a foam app pad. A towel will not cut it, and you will end up using too much product. CG says to let it sit on the paint for 15min, but dont worry about that. Just make sure the wax has hazed up before you buff it off. I do the whole car, and then start buffing it off when I am finished where I began. When you apply the wax, make sure it is really thin. Its better to apply two thin coats that one huge one. The 50/50 can should last you over 10 cars if applied correctly. When you are all finished, follow it with a QD. I use CG Speedwipe because of its ease of application, and also due to its anti static properties. And as always, only use MF towels.
