Replacing my brakes, what to choose...

My brakes have some thickness still (5mm in the front and 4mm in the rear), but after washing my car several times a week (wheels included) my brakes are starting to squeal.
I'm leaning towards slotted rotors by stop-tech ( https://www.carid.com/2011-bmw-3-ser...parentsubmodel[]=MODEL|328i%20xDrive ), but there are no reviews on them, or just going to the dealership to pick up the OEM brakes.
The reason I'm leaning away from the OEM brakes is that I drive the car harder than the average driver, so I'm not sure if I should keep using he OEM brakes.
What are your opinions?
Thanks everyone

I recently replaced mine and went with Zimmermann rotors and Akebono Euro Ceramic pads. I was recommended this by a BMW wiz himself and the price is right, but also the performace.

My only reason to sway you towards the StopTechs (slotted not needed - just do the high carbon blank rotors) is the coating they use on the hat seems more durable than both the Zimmerman and the OEM Brembo/BMW coating. The last set of Zimmerman rotors I used had chunks of coating missing out of the box. They started rusting in those spots almost immediately. After a year in my climate they looked pretty dingy. I used the Stop Tech High carbon slotted rotors on my CTS-V and they looked great after a year, including use in the winter.

Read about the weak initial bite complaints on Akebono and non-OEM grade pads.

Anything meeting EUROPEAN ECE R90 regulation is considered OEM equivalent. See the “90R-“ marking on the pad.

I mainly use ATE on Zimmermann. Trying the Pagid pads and rotors next time just to see, wondering why they are so much cheaper than ATE/Zimmermann.

See my Pagid pictures here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1501383

RM European has drilled rotors, maybe Zimmermanns, not sure. I would say try ATE/Zimmermann or experiment with Pagid, which I have not put on yet.

How did it compare to stock, given the price point was cheaper.

dleccord They feel the same as the stock pads and rotors no complaints. I didn't have any issue with rust or signs of wear as it's been a few months now. I wish I would of went with slotted rotors for the looks after installing 030s, but gets the job done and saves some money for other parts

If you want dependability and the resistance to build up that causes vibration, stick with oem. With the exception of tracking your car, the oem pads and rotors will take all the hard driving that you can throw at them.
