A SPRING FEEL out under my foot!!

Other day i was driving and all of a sudden i hear a wierd noise evenmthough the music was on full blast. By the time i turn it off the noise is gone, and i felt my pedal vibrate also. I thought of it was nothing. Then when i park i look next to my foot a wierd spring silver colored was next to it. It was about maybe one inch , inch and half. It was a spring hard spring, with a hook on each side...

WTF is this?

i'm sure the gas pedal is connected to some sort of spring so that it springs back up when your foot lets off the pedal. maybe you been driving too fast and u destroyed u gas pedal?

lol - you sure it's not the pedal itself? It does have a bit of a "spring" feel since it bounces back when you let off from WOT...

random parts falling out from under your dashboard is not uncommon. if the gauges and stuff start falling through, you probably want to take it into the dealer because something sounds like it's wrong.
