Grease for Suspension

What grease can I use on my KW coilovers to quite down the bump stops and the discs? I have seen this done before where it stops them from clanking over certain roads.

Bump stops don't clank? That's something metal to metal. Bumpstops are usually a far more vibration absorbant material like polyurethane or plain heavy duty rubber.

If your coilovers are clanking over road imperfections look into the top mounts. Most coilovers will use a metal insert while stock uses rubber to absorb that nvh. I've seen someone on here swap out their coilover camber plate for Ksport plates, as those use a top mount like stock with a rubber insert.

But for other coilover maintenence white lithium grease is good to use. I've used it on my old project BC coilover threads as winter salt prevention. Helps keep the threads clear for easy adjustment. I believe I used Boeshield T9. Cheap online anywhere.

I think its my rears that do it though. It can only be heard at low speeds.

Now I'm fairly certain its my rear brake pads. When I engage brakes but keep foot on gas and roll over pavement, the rattle isnt there. If I roll over the same pavement, rattle! So odd. I had a feeling the pads I bought wouldnt fit perfectly based on another thread...oh well.
