As the M2C on display features the MP CF wing: did you also take a picture of the inside part of the boot lid (are drilled mounts visible ?) ?

Cool video. Look forward to watching the process of installing Mperf parts. You have a list of parts you want?

The 'bird bath' is ok, until you park by the mall and some a-hole rips it off your trunk...

I wouldn't get that even if it was free; I knew some car thieves in my teenage days and they use to drive around all night and "collect" JDM Type R spoilers..

The trunk junk is not my cup of tea either. For people that opt for the air dam and are not lucky enough to have a car port, rainy climates will turn that thing into a perpetual bird bath.

I have 295 PS4S tires on the stock 10" wide wheels on my M4 and in fact, I use 7.5mm spacers as well for a more flush look just for the street. Based on the wheel clearance I noticed on the video, I don't think 295s would fit on the M2 without rubbing even though it's technically possible to have them on a 10" wheel. Going from 285 rears to 295 rears helped noticeably for traction in my case. Not being able to fit wider tires (specifically 295s) might be a problem for those who are considering tuning the engine to M4 ZCP or CS levels.

295's have been done on 437m wheels, which are same offsets as 763m wheels.

Not that I have read.

In fact Apex wheels has a 18x10.5 they sell for M2, they say a 305 will fit.

Yes, I know 295s will fit on 437m. Several people running them on their M3/M4s. However, I'm not sure if they can fit on the M2 without rubbing. Also, 18s are not an option with the new bigger brakes.

The hugely worrying thing for me is even this BMW press Car in this video is of poor quality, the front wings and bonnet are clearly a different colour to the doors. My OCD would never accept this, I’m dead against having a car without original paint mainly because of the quality, impeperfections and poor colour matching.

If BMW can’t get it right on their press Car, your Car will never be perfect. I really want these painted M performance parts to be great but I’m probably going to have to pass on the painted parts and possibly the roof, until I know more details.
