Battery shutting off while updating jb4

So I’m in a bit of a jam. I went out to update my jb4 firmware and while verifying the upload my battery charge low came on and turned the car off- thus not completing the update, and leaving my car undrivable since it doesn’t have current firmware. I went and bought a 15amp charger and will let the battery go to 100% charged and wait til the charger is just “maintaining” instead of “charging to try again. If that doesn’t work I don’t know what to do.

Once fixed just upload the firmware again.

Sounds like you need a new battery

All resolved.

Started pouring down rain while I was installing a new battery and of course I made the day worse by shutting the trunk with the battery disconnected. My buddy hooked up jumper cables so I could push the trunk release inside the car (Thankfully I left it unlocked) then I installed the battery, registered it, and the firmware updated just fine and the car is actually running pretty good compared to before the update. I also restored default JB4 settings to allow the car to re-adapt.
