Silver rimmed speakers,...
I look at all the photos of new M3's on this website as I eagerly await delivery of my e93 (week 27 build).
What I've noticed is that the majority of US pictures show speakers with a silver rim, whilst European pictures show completely black speakers. I've ordered the Logic 7 / DSP audio, and based on pictures of another UK M3er with that option, these will be all black. So, what audio option decides that you get the silver rimmed speakers? Just curious. |

In the US its the Enhanced Premium Sound that gives you the silver rimed speakers.

Ok, so it's the 'Individual audio' that gives silver rims...
Hopefully you get more than just silver rims, as in the UK, individual audio costs nearly $3000 extra over base. The Logic 7/DSP is an extra $1600. Seems I'll just have to make do with the black-rimmed speakers of Logic 7/DSP... |

the individual audio rocks...
I thought I might have to go aftermarket, but when I turned on the Individual audio it became clear that BMW finally got it right
I think they are working with a small company in Sweden that came up with the algorithms and the electronics and man what a sound... |
