Slowdown or be careful

The gas price has clear out the Socal freeway at non-rush hours and people have been driving faster and faster. Today on the way home the average speed is 80mph and 90 on the fast lane on the 405. Hope everyone stays safe out there. Either the cops will crack down soon or bad accidents will force them to do so. Let us enjoy the small period of congestion freeway without paying a huge fine.

I agree with you on this one, i have noticed this as well. The funny thing is that people complain about gas prices and instead of trying to drive more efficiently, they continue to drive 90+mph on the freeway burning all that gas at rapid rate....

that's true on the streets as well I noticed here in orange county people are driving more aggressively and stomping it at lights. The collective mood is pissed!

$75 to fill up at the spot off of brookhurst a couple days ago they can cut it with that 9/10ths of a cent bullshit already lol

Really? Where? Maybe in Irvine. In LA it still takes me 1 - 1.5 hours for 20 miles from LAX to Valley on 405 Fwy at any time of the day.

Drove to Burbank @ 8am this morning. Took me only 35 min to get there!
Gas prices seem to be increasing about 10 cents every week...

The gas situation is a joke and a govnt scam...

I don’t believe it for a moment even though I forced to pay the price...

Explain to me how last year the gas companies made a 33 billion dollar profit... hmmm someone isn’t suffering...

Eh oh well

I have been spending quite a few hours on my motorcycle these days... and the car has been sitting covered in my garage. I love getting 50 miles to the gallon with the bike... but I must admit, I look a bit weird riding a crotch-rocket in a pin-stripped suit, but I really don't care.

Argh, that stretch of 405 from 10 to 101 is horrible all the time.

the good thing about that stretch is that if you are heading south on the 405 you can save a shitload of gas by coasting from the top of hill past the getty to the bottom to about Wilshire...

the 9/10th of a cent for each gallon will only increase the price of a whole tank for at most 14 cents..

What street?

There is a gas station on the corner of 20th ave and El Camino in San Mateo who has had $5 gas for months now.

It's the most expensive gas station in the Bay Area.

I dont think that is the case

There are probably more accidents when there is traffic. Less accidents when people are moving at 80-90 mph
