It's not going to make a difference. The government is not going to be enforcing this law. Even they admit that "it won't be policing the proposed new rules and concedes it's unlikely most people would be penalized."

i hope this won't give chance for corporate lobbyist to open a portal to rip normal people from sharing musics between devices~

Well, which record company locks CDs anymore? Steve Jobs and Apple have twisted arms everywhere to reduce copy protection on music.

Perhaps this will just make life more difficult for all those stores at Pacific Mall...

After bittorrent being popular who's still buying CD/DVD from PacMall? I am more worry now Rogers cap the limit to 95G then anything else!

The government does not need (or want) to enforce it. The rights-holders will, just like they have in the states. That's what all those lawsuits against 11 year-olds and grandmas are about.
