Did you get her contact info?

It is very minimal, but how anal are you? You can either get a new bumper or the cheap route..a Euro plate to cover the crease, lol.

It is only slight damage, but get it fixed on her dime. Leaving as is will affect resale value.

it probably looks more significant in daylight with reflections making the crease more noticeable. I know how youre feeling though bro, some douche bag hit me with some debris from the emergency lane/shoulder on the freeway while merging. It was stop and go traffic and he tried to go around the merge by using the emergency lane and ran something over, made it fly in the air and then lands RIGHT on my hood, causes a dent and scratches. Ill post another thread with pics later... im still too pissed to take pictures of it.

im only 18, and have never been involved in any kind of accident.

is it stupid for me to get insurance involved with this minor of damage?

Just have insurance pay you out, do what Long said, get new grills, and pocket the rest.

a woman backed into me two years ago with her SUV and really smashed the front of my toyota. she got out and promised she would fix the damage. she said she was sorry. This happened in the gym parking lot which was private property so the police would not come and take a police report since no one was injured. Well when i contaced her she said that i hit her and hung up. So be careful. I eventually won the case because i tracked down a witness. But if i hadnt found that witness i would have got nothing.
