Best option for replacing 2006 335i Turbos in 2018
Hi guys,
I have a 56 plate 335i and the wastegates have been getting progressively worse over the last few months, to the point where it now sounds absolutely awful, although does still boost ok to 13/14psi (JB4) but there is some lag etc. What are my best options for replacing the turbos? New factory turbos from BMW? Or can anyone recommend good aftermarket / reconditioned turbo suppliers? I am not bothered about making big power, keeping the cost of the job as low as possible is my priority. I was going to get the ML Performance Stage 1 but they have stopped doing them.. Any advice greatly appreciated https://www.mlperformance.co.uk/coll...nt=30606135434 |

New factory are the most reliable, even with running around 13 psi... they will still last quite along time compared to most other options. U could also look into this option :-) http://turbolabofamerica.com/tag/335i-turbo-upgrade-uk/

There are places out there that will recondition your turbo's and wastegates for about 1k, or can just rebuild the wastegates with a lifetime warrenty. Repair kit: http://performance.vargasturbo.com/e...&product_id=81 Think theres a place in Coventry and a place in Nuneaton of the top of my head. |

Turbo dynamics will refurb your turbo’s including upgraded wastegate parts for around £300 plus VAT per turbo with a 7 day turnaround time.
Email this guy and he will give you a full rundown on what they offer. Tom@turbodynamics.co.uk |
