Can't see all song from ipod,need help

My car has USB interface where I plug my ipod in. However some of song could not be found from IDrive. I always access them through Directory>Album. If I access through Playlist, worse, I could not see any playlist at all. Did I miss anything? I checked these song exists with other songs that can be seen from IDrive. Any help is appreciated, sorry if this is repost.
