Damaged my car. help (picts)
Parking at the A's game.
Stupid mistake. Any advice... never had to take a car to fix damage such as this before. Should I file an insurance claim? Help would be appreciated. Auto body advice?

If its only your sideskirts and you dont want insurance to go up, just fork up the cash to replace it yourself. Hell, maybe its even a good time to consider mtech sideskirts

^^looks like damage to the quarter panel as well. Not too bad though, if it were me, I would just pay for it myself, though I do have a $1000 deductible... your call really...

that ding on the fender might be really hard to get out since it's on that edge. but the sideskirt, you can get a new one and painted for a reasonable price.

Thanks. How much do you think this will run me $500? $1G?
I will get quotes, but I am not sure what to expect.

some insurance companies let you file a couple comprehensive claims w/o affecting your premiums. I know mercury does.. you should find out for sure before you do though.. and yeah, how did you get that damage?

Thanks Dale btw I rushed going into a tight spot because there were cars waiting behind me. Stupid, should have just relaxed. Hit the mini concrete border.. not sure why it was there. Always get anxious when people are waiting.

I'm going to guess that ding wasn't part of the accident. Call your insurance and ask them if it will count against you.
Looks like you got lucky and just did some cosmetic damage. |

You need to chill man, people can wait. But yeah it doesnt look like anything serious or worth reporting to insurance, i'd say get some mtech sideskirts and have someone take care of that ding paintless style

i wouldn't file insurance for this... get mtech side skirts and the dent can be fixed easily. for the side skirt, you can get mtech stuff at bmwsf since i see you are from san francisco. hope this helps... and if the dealership directs you to german motors collision center, i would stay away from them, they have the worst service ever just to put it nicely... hope this helps

Side Skirts
I haven't seen a good picture of the Side Skirts. I know a guy from Church who looked at it for me and is on the case already. I feel much better about my bone headed move... 400-500 dollar mistake. If I can find out what "M-Tech Side Skirts" look like, I may purchase..
