Had the E90 Detailed......Impressed.

I had my car detailed last week by Auto Care and have to admit that I am very impressed with the results. The car looks better than it did when new. The following was done to the car:

1. Rinse wheels and arches + lower body.
2. Clean wheels with VP Billberry and brushes/cloths.
3. Rinse car and foam with Citrus Degreaser.
4. Rinse and wash with Duragloss Shampoo.
5. Rinse and clay entire car.
6. Final wash / rinse down.
7. Dry with towels and blower.
8. Mask off all trim etc.
9. Machine polish.
10.Apply Klasse paint cleaner / sealant.
11.Apply Acrylic Glanz (doesn't normally use this but wanted to test it out).
12.Polish wheels with Rejex and dress tyres.
13.Final wipe down of all trim and clean windows

Here are the pics:

Thoroughly recommend having this done as it totally transforms the appearance of the car.

Looking good.
Question's
1)Did it remove the light scratching (pic.1) ? as I have similar ones on a Monaco blue car.
2)How much ?
3)How long did the process take?

Hi,

Yes it did remove all of the light scratching as per the pic and some ad hoc deeper scratches.

Cost is normally around £180, but have seen this alot higher, I paid less as I have known John at Auto Care for a few years.

It took a day and a half to complete, but it can be done in a day dependant upon equipment and products used.

Can't see the pics at work, but will look later.

I'm looking into getting my car done and could do with some contacts for the Midlands.

Do 'Auto Care' have a website or anything? Can't find them on Google.

I can't seem to find autocare auto-care or auto care on google ? do you have anymore details ?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a valet / detailer in the Oxfordshire / Midlands region that could do some work in the next 4 weeks ?

Car looks great by the way ...

Car looks fantastic.Have you ever thought of trying Zymol? I have been using it for years and it shines like nothing else may be worth a look in future if you want to keep it looking pristine.By the way,is your car an ex bmw uk car? just notice it was registered in yorkshire.

This is the darkest colour I have had so far, I can't imagine how bad the saphire black is The dust on the roof comes off if you go fast enough

Firstly, thanks for all the nice comments.

John will cover a distance of 100 mile radius from Barnsley South Yorks, so the Midlands (parts of), Lancashire, North Yorks, Lincolnshire etc will be covered, best bet is to just drop him an email on:

lovitt@talktalk.net

He has only recently set up the business hence why you won't find a website etc just yet.

Most of his recent cars have been BMW's.....don't know why. Mine is Sapphire Black and it is a nightmare to keep clean and polished. Whenever I clean it it just never looks perfect...just one of those colours. But after the detailing I was amazed, what a difference. Plus as long as I give it a decent wash it stays looking as good.

Jules.

ps if anyone wants further contact details then just drop me an email.
