I think it depends on the color of the car.

I have never seen a car on the road in Europe whose owner has tried to convert to the US-style amber lenses. That just about says it all

the only color would look nice with amber is an orange car.

I've never seen any Lexus RX owner convert their clear taillights either.IMO they don't look great.

Qunicy, side-by-side pics would help. I've forgotten what an e90 look like with clear.

Some colors and some car designs work well with clear. Others do not. My vote would be that it depend on the car and its color.

I think the amber lens makes the arrow like shape headlight corner more pronounced.

i have clear ones(duh ) and clear ones look more German Engineered imho than the amber ones who look more like US specced (Duh number 2 )

That's why I prefer the clear lenses.

Amber doesn't bother me in the least - looks good on my Barrique Red car IMHO.

I do think if you go clear the blacklines look better (as in attached photoshop of a previous post)

Yeah, pictures don't do the color justice. I'm not a beige fan, but I do love my Terra/Aluminum.....

red color looks great with amber corners.

Clear corner looks more clean and sporty in my opinion.
while amber does look a bit more "luxurious"(i don't know why), I STILL PREFER CLEAR CORNERS.

damn north america.
